UPDATE: Hike Across America!
Businessman, Speaker, Marine Shane Johnson swings threw Las Vegas on the final leg of his Hike Across America to raise awareness about Veteran suicides and homelessness.
During our visit to Las Vegas Shane ran the Trails of Glory Desert Dash at Red Rock Canyon. A grueling 41.5 miles of rough desert terrain with varying elevations.
Shane will also participate in the Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade. This parade is second in size only to New York's parade.
In addition to continuing to run 22 miles a day Shane spends time hiking and climbing the local Las Vegas mountains.
After completing this challenge. Johnson will run through 4 deserts next year, that's 155 miles in seven days. He also said he hopes to inspire others to face the challenges they hope to conquer.
Businessman / Speaker / Marine Shane Johnson is Hiking Across America to raise awareness for Veteran suicides and homelessness. Clean The World has partnered with Shane to supply 10,000 hygiene kits that Shane will hand out along his hike from Orlando to Camp Pendelton, CA.
