FLASH BACK: Booyah Mortgage & Booyah Productions Join NASCAR!

BOOYAH PRODUCTIONS 2017 All Rights Reserved
FLASH BACK:
A year ago today Booyah Mortgage & Booyah Productions President Shane Johnson announced our companies would enter the world of NASCAR sponsoring Ryan Seig's car #39 for the legendary Daytona 500 on Febuary 25th, 2017.

After months of development and with great input from our Booyah partners, Booyah Productions Vice President Ray Tharaldson put the finishing touches on the Booyah Productions logo.

"As an artist seeing something I created on a  NASCAR and being seen all over the world has been one of the highlights of my career. I'm very proud to play a part of our companies successful world wide branding. Shane's choosing "BOOYAH" as a company slogan was a pure stroke of marketing genius. While being a military term everyone reacts to it in such a positive way. It's unique and just fun to say!"
~ Ray Tharaldson

Another stroke of marketing brilliance was to record Shane's 3 year old daughter Charlie saying BOOYAH and adding it after the explosion in our animation. It softens the impact of the explosion and adds a warmth that plays well against the explosion sound effect.

Its also serves as a constant reminder of the role Charlie plays as Shane's "WHY" in his life.

Ryan Sieg (born June 20, 1987 in Tucker, Georgia) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 39 Chevrolet Camaro for RSS Racing. He is the younger brother of driver Shane Sieg.

In 2015, Sieg returned to the Xfinity Series with new sponsor Uncle Bob's Self Storage at the season opener at Daytona. He finished 38th after being involved in the first big one. Sieg had a consistent season with finishing many races under 20th, including an 8th-place finish at Kansas, finishing 11th in points.[7] Sieg lost the sponsorship from Uncle Bob's for 2016 but a number of sponsors filled the void. Some highlights of the season included almost qualifying for the Dash 4 Cash at Dover International Speedway, running in the top five at Daytona International Speedway, and qualifying for the inaugural Xfinity Series Chase before being knocked out after the first round.

In May 2017, Sieg was signed by BK Racing to drive their No. 83 Toyota Camry in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series at Dover International Speedway for the AAA 400 Drive for Autism, his MENCS debut.[9] A month later, he replaced Gray Gaulding in BK's No. 23 Camry for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan.[10] Sieg recorded his best career Xfinity finish of second at Iowa Speedway only a week later.

During the 2017 racing season Ryan ran 5,790 laps in 33 races, ranking 17th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He also ran 1167 laps in 5 races for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series the same year.

Our companies logo's were featured on the hood, sides and rear of Ryans car during the Daytona 500.

As an added bonus later in the year Booyah Mortgage and Booyah Productions made it on NASCAR Heat 2 Video Game for PlayStation and XBOX and was recreated as a die cast collectable.

2017 was a epic year for the Booyah brand. Shane's recently completed Hike Across America to raise awareness for Veteran homelessness and suicides brought national attention to the problem and inspiring and motivating the homeless. Crossing 9 States, speaking in 20 Cities, Crossing 3,000 Miles, and running over 1600 Miles for over 65 Days!

Shane is completing his book about the journey and it will be released soon.

And 2018 is shaping up to be even bigger. Plans are under way for "Hike Across America, the Second Chance Tour" With amazing partners like Clean the World we can change the world!

Join us this year as Shane runs Across America as a Motivational Speaker inspiring Schools, Communities, and Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities to help Veterans and those struggling with addiction to find their true WHY! Stay tuned!

Listen to Shane Johnson being interviewed by IHeart Radio's Miguel Colon Jr on the "Real Laughs Show" tonight at 9:00pm. Shane shares stories and insights about his recently completed Hike Across America.
Click the link below to tune in!

Hike Across America powered by Clean the World and the Booyah Veteran Bus Project completed their 3,047 Mile Journey to raise awareness for Veteran Suicide, Veteran Homelessness, and inspire the common good of man to pursue your WHY with relentless dedication, motivation, and all out bad assery!

3,047 miles, 20 cities, 9 states, 8 tanks of gas, 10 cases of water, 1 pair of Aces shoes, 6 state parks, 3 hotels, 22 homeless shelters, 10,000 hygiene kits, 1,000 inspired homeless, over 10,000 found their Why, 50 hours of video, 15 videos, 1 documentary, 2 marathons, 8 In-N-Out visits, 1 pawn shop Nikon camera, a million mosquitoes and a thousand memories. Our Hike Across America mission is complete!

Businessman, Speaker, Marine Shane Johnson began his Hike Across America in Orlando on September 13th after being delayed by hurricane Irma.

Traveling across the country takes several days when you're driving, but running across in 65 days is a big challenge. Shane Johnson a Marine said challenges are what he lives for and as a veteran he said the work is never over even after leaving the battlefield.

"Our job is to continue to serve no matter what in any capacity forever once we take our oath to the country," said Johnson.

Johnson is also the founder of the Booyah Veteran Bus Project. Shane partnered with the Clean the World Foundation to launch this Hike Across America initiative. It targets homeless veterans and the challenges they face going from active duty to civilian life.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development estimates more than 39,000 veterans are homeless. Johnson said the number is so high due to the lack of leaders like him pushing these veterans to strive for a better future.

"We are not doing enough of what I feel that I am trying to do. It's to truly engage to get in there create jobs, create businesses, inspire them to do things to get off their buts to make things happen because they have everything they need they just need more leaders to tell them that and then push them."

Along his journey Shane shared his inspirational message of hope, persistence & responsibility at homeless shelters in over 20 cities and handed out 10,000 hygiene kits provided by Clean The World to those in need.

During his visit to Phoenix Shane spoke to the  GoDaddy team at a hygiene kit building event. Over 800 kits were put together & shipped.

Local and National news organizations such as CBS, Fox, ABC, IHeart Radio and USA Today caught up with Shane along the way to help spread the mission.

On Oct 8th Shane began running rather than hiking the 22 miles. He also entered marathons and the Trails of Glory Desert Dash ultra-marathon at Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas. A grueling 41.5 miles of rough desert terrain with varying elevations. On the final leg of Hike Across America Shane decided to run a epic 100 miles nonstop from Malibu to Oceanside.

Shane also participated in the Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade. This parade is second in size only to New York's parade.

After completing this challenge,  Johnson will run through 4 deserts next year, that's 155 miles in seven days. He also said he hopes to inspire others to face the challenges they hope to conquer.

Shane  has spoken at major events and corporations including Wreathes Across America, GoDaddy, Caesars Entertainment, Central Florida School of Business & Clean The World.

Associated Press award winning photojournalist Ray Tharaldson is partnering with Full Sail University to produce the documentary "3,000 Miles For Your Why" about Shane's journey  across America.

'Hike Across America' brings awareness to homeless vets

By Mike Lacy, Reporter - WLOX 13 News / BILOXI, MS
Hike Across America is a 3,000-mile walk that's designed to inspire and engage homeless veterans.

It's the work of retired Marine Shane Johnson, who was once homeless for two years. Now on his feet, Johnson wants to change lives one step at a time.

"When I opened up my first business in 2006 at 26 years old, we did exceptionally well. Then, the business just dissipated. It was gone," said Johnson. "The next thing you know, I was living out of a 1995 Toyota Camry with two boxes, and I didn't know what I was going to do."

Now, he owns three veteran-based successful companies.

Johnson is on a mission to re-train those who fought for their country to now fight for themselves. He's walking from Orlando to California with a lot of stops to talk - including the Back Bay Mission in Biloxi.

"It's not secret sauce everybody's looking for. It really comes down to the simple plan of educating yourself, be self-taught and work," he said.

Johnson also has a non-profit group, Booyah Veteran Bus Project. Its mission is to help veterans transition into civilian life - which sometimes requires tough love.

"You've been given millions of dollars worth of training. You know that excuses aren't accepted. You know it's your responsibility to accept your actions and what you've done. You've got to charge forward and make things happen," Johnson said.

Army veteran John Welch was homeless for more than two years. He is the kind of success story Johnson likes to see. But, he has a stark message for everyone.

"Right now, with all the disasters going on, let me tell you something. People are experiencing homelessness that never imagined they would ever be homeless. And it's a rude awakening," said Welch.

Johnson will walk to Camp Pendleton, Ca. As part of his mission, he's working with the organization Clean the World to distribute hygiene kits to homeless veterans.

Booyah Mortgage & Booyah Productions will be at Daytona sponsoring Ryan Sieg #39

PRESS RELEASE:
Booyah Mortgae & Booyah Productions will be sponsoring NASCAR driver Ryan Sieg #39.
Febuary 25th, 2017

Ryan Sieg (born June 20, 1987 in Tucker, Georgia) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 39 Chevrolet Camaro for RSS Racing. He is the younger brother of driver Shane Sieg.

Racing career

Sieg made his NASCAR debut in 2009, competing in the Camping World Truck Series Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway. Driving the No. 21 Dodge for GunBroker Racing, Sieg started 16th but finished 34th due to an ignition problem. At The Milwaukee Mile, he would start a partial schedule for his family-owned race team. In nine races, Ryan recorded six top-20 finishes including a finish of 9th at Gateway International Raceway.

For 2010, Sieg and his brother Shane both planned to run the full Truck Series schedule in the No. 39 and No. 93 trucks, respectively. Despite having no major sponsorship, Sieg was able to run the entire season, finishing 21 of the 25 races and earning two top-10 finishes, including an 8th at Kentucky Speedway and a 9th at Dover International Speedway.

On June 10, 2011, Sieg finished 7th in the WinStar World Casino 400K at Texas Motor Speedway, marking his best career finish in his 44th start in the Camping World Truck Series. He also led ten laps earlier after staying out on a pit stop. At the September 2 Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway he piloted his No. 39 RSS Racing Chevy to a 15th-place finish.

For 2012, Sieg led six laps at the Charlotte Motor Speedway race after staying out on a pit stop during a caution. He ran the final three laps in 3rd position before finishing in 15th after running out of fuel on the last lap at Michigan International Speedway on August 18, marking his best final-laps position in the Camping World Truck Series. He would later score a 6th-place finish at Phoenix.

In 2013, in addition to running the full Camping World Truck Series season, Sieg substituted for Jeremy Clements in the NASCAR Nationwide Series during the latter's suspension. Later in the year he ran at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Indiana 250 for his own team.

In February 2014, RSS Racing announced that Sieg would run the full Truck Series season and at least the first five Nationwide Series races in 2014. He finished in the 9th spot in the season-opening DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway, his first top 10 in the Nationwide Series.

After Fontana, it was announced that Sieg would focus his efforts on the Nationwide Series for the remainder of the season, running for Rookie of the Year. Sieg then earned fame himself at the July race at Daytona when he drafted Kasey Kahne past teammate Regan Smith to his first Nationwide victory since 2007. In doing so, he also scored his first career top 5 finish with a 3rd-place finish, enough to put him in the first of four races in the 2014 Nationwide Dash4Cash event the next week at New Hampshire. Sieg was rather impressive in 2014, having some other solid runs to go along with the two top 10's to finish the season 16th in points.

In 2015, Sieg returned to the Xfinity Series with new sponsor Uncle Bob's Self Storage at the season opener at Daytona. He finished 38th after the first big one. Sieg had a consistent season with finishing many races under 20th, including an 8th-place finish at Kansas, finishing 11th in points.

Watch for us at Daytona Feb 25th!
