TShane Johnson and The Pink Bow Foundation Begin Their Teen Homelessness Iniative!

While most of America was enjoying the 4th of July Holiday grilling and watching fireworks TShane Johnson got up before dawn to begin his daily hike of 22 miles to bring awareness to the teen homeless problem. And he's doing this while wearing an additional 100lbs to train for breaking the Guinnes World Record of the fastest marathon time carrying 100lbs.

This year Hike Across America has partnered with The Pink Bow Foundation to launch an initiative to raise awareness and support for homeless teens.

TShane began his symbolic hike from his home in Windermere, Florida and followed Colonial (Highway 50 West) to the Cleremont area. He'll do this every morning for the next 65 days.

Many businesses have sponsored the hike by purchasing a $150.00 box filled with the personal hygiene product these homeless teens so desperately need. The Pink Bow Foundation packages and distributes these items to the teens.
