PRESS RELEASE:
Program aimed at offering guidance and aid to struggling veterans across the country
ORLANDO, Fla.,
May 9, 2018 (Newswire.com) -
Clean the World, a leader in Global Health, and Motivational Speaker
and Owner of Booyah Energy, Shane Johnson, announce the launch of its “
Hike Across America - The Second Chance Tour”
to support veterans experiencing difficulties transitioning into the
workplace. This three-month initiative will raise awareness for the
struggles veterans face going from active duty to civilian life. During
the hike, Marine, Shane Johnson will cover over 3,000 miles speaking and
inspiring communities, corporate leaders, and city officials to work
together on finding solutions to support our veterans in need while
distributing over 10,000 hygiene kits to individuals experiencing
homelessness across the U.S.
“Hike Across America – The Second Chance Tour” powered by Clean the
World and Booyah Energy starts July 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada and ends on
September 11th in Orlando, Florida. Covering 10 cities in 10 states,
Shane Johnson and Clean the World will honor a hero in each city along
the route while raising funds to purchase a home for a much-deserved
hero in the Orlando area for a September 11th ribbon cutting.
“I am passionate about what I do and in helping others find a process
and plan that will work for their individual or organizational needs,”
says Shane Johnson, Motivational Speaker and Owner of Booyah Energy.
“This Hike Across America is about encouraging individuals in hurt
places to remove obstacles that keep them down. I’ve overcome
homelessness, so I’ve been there. I inspire these veterans to hold
themselves accountable for their future.” ~

This is the second time that Clean the World and Shane Johnson have
partnered on this veteran initiative. In 2017, Shane walked 22 miles a
day for 65 consecutive days stopping at cities from Orlando, Florida to
San Diego, California, visiting homeless shelters in each city. Clean
the World and its sponsors were able to distribute over 10,000 Veterans’
Hygiene Kits to shelters along the route. Hygiene kits provide
life-saving supplies to individuals that cannot afford basic items such
as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush for example. Clean
the World works with businesses that want to serve the homeless
community in hosting
hygiene kit team building events at their location. It’s a fun and unique way to serve the local community.
This year’s Hike Across America – the Second Chance Tour will stop in
Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, St Louis, Louisville,
Nashville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando. In addition, Clean the
World encourages businesses across the country to
assemble kits and donate to charities that serve veterans in their area.
“Last year, we were able to support thousands of veterans in twenty
different cities through the generous support from our sponsors,” says
Shawn Seipler, founder and CEO of Clean the World.
“This year, we hope
to expand our reach to help even more individuals across the country. We
encourage businesses to take part in Hike Across America by serving
their local communities. These hygiene supplies, which are not covered
by government programs, keep individuals healthy, prevents the spread of
illnesses, and makes them feel refreshed so they can better their
situation. It’s amazing how something so basic can have such a positive
impact on someone’s life.”

About Booyah Energy
Booyah Energy founded by once homeless and now Motivational Speaker
Shane Johnson is not just a drink or an apparel line – it is a state of
mind. The idea behind this brand and product is pure empowerment. It is
the Superman-energy that fuels your Clark Kent, the inner Hulk strength
to your Bruce Banner, The Wonder Woman to your Diana Prince. When you
put on Booyah Apparel, you represent a person who was once homeless and
understood that only Empowerment is what pulled him out of that dark
place to find mindful success. In other words, the empowerment turned
the homeless person into a superhero, giving them the strength and
courage to try again. One of our outreach platforms is to employ persons
experiencing homelessness by allowing them the opportunity to be models
for our drinks and apparel. Each time you purchase an item from one of
our homeless models, know that a portion of the proceeds goes directly
back to that individual and through your purchase, you are empowering
them with the ability to get back on their feet and take on tomorrow
with a brand new positive outlook on their life! More information:
